Bleakholt is a fun and exciteing, place to work, and very interesting job, helping animals,, I was maintenence assistant, there for a good 2 years, every one is helpful, and friendly, and the scenery is lovely to work, in gets cold in the winter. One winter i got snowed in. Pros Various hours, long shifts or short I feel that the start and finish times of the day are quite fair however the pay could be increased for certain members of staff. I learned a lot about equine management and medications. The hardest part of the job was working in the awful weather conditions in winter and the most enjoyable part of the job was being around the horses. I learned a lot being there, about the animals and how to treat them. The real animals were the people, I didn't think 30-40 year olds thought It was ok to bully? If I hadn't had got bullied I wouldn't have left. DISGUSTING PLACE.
