Work in partnership with other members of ICRC First Aid team in Nigeria and Liaise with the mobile surgical team during joint mass casualty exercise, management and other emergencies. Work in collaboration with Nigerian Red Cross National Society NRCS First Aid trainers allocated during joint training exercises. Develop and maintain contacts with authorities throughout Nigeria and other external interlocutors Contribute to set-up, design, implementation and monitoring of the First Aid program including analysis of outcomes. Required Qualification Relevant university degree and qualification. First Aid certificate. 3-4 years professional experience in same or similar field activities. Excellent command of English, written and spoken. Good computer skills with confirmed leadership and management experience. Very good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Ability to travel in all regions in the Niger Delta. Personal Requirements Strongly motivated by humanitarian work. Ability to work Independently, capacity to take Initiatives, ability to integrate changes in a fast paced environment Good communication Skills Organised, punctual and reliable Sound ability to apply ICRC rules and working procedures.

Pros You get to come in early and stay late! Cons People - Especially Leadership I hear great stories of other departments. My manager is terrible. Communication with her is nonexistent. She is also very unprofessional. There is no attempt to help me grow as an employee. Very safe and secure position working with many different clients supporting early to late stage clinical trials. I have a great team of dedicated professionals that help me manage and lead the project teams to ensure success by managing very tight project timelines while juggling multiple tasks. The manager I worked for was a micro manager to the nth degree. He made insulting comments and played one employee against another. This manager had never managed people before and it clearly showed in his professionalism. I can't say the whole company was bad. I don't think that it is the case, but my manager was the worst I have ever had in my career. I am sure if I had a different manager to wok with and a different program manager it would have been different.
