Our students consistently achieve GCSE results that are amongst the best in the Colchester and Tendring areas. Typically 99% of our students transfer at age 16 to sixth form studies, further education or employment with training. On the 1st September 2019 Manningtree High School became a member of the Alpha Trust, joining the Gilberd School, Colchester, Colchester County High School for Girls, Home Farm Primary School and the planned Trinity School in that Multi Academy Trust (MAT).

For information about an application to the Sixth Form or if you have a query about a submitted application please contact Head of Sixth Form, Mrs Hughes via 2021/22 Minimum entry criteria The minimum entry requirement is 4 GCSEs at Grade 7 or above and 2 GCSEs at Grade 6 including English Language and Mathematics at a minimum of Grade 6 (or Grade B unreformed GCSE). Students will be required to achieve at least a Grade 7 in each GCSE subject they wish to study at A Level (or grade equivalent score of at least 7 for unreformed GCSE's as shown below as stated by the DfE. )

Open Evenings Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, it was not possible for us to run our traditional Open Evenings in October 2020, for 2021 entry, but we are exploring other ways to provide students with guidance and support and will publish information on here as these alternative arrangements fall into place. Although the event is virtual, our tutors will be on-site to show you our facilities and to guide you through what it's like to study on their course.
